Fruit Bouquet

I love Edible Arrangements, they are so pretty and so tasty!  But... so expensive!  I decided I could make them on my own.  All you really need is a cute flower cookie cutter and some time.  These were made for a bridal shower as centerpieces.  Functional and they taste good, ha.

Initial & Number Shirts

First off, I am a beginner sewer.  Last "Black Friday", I saw a sewing machine at Target that was on sale for $50.  I thought... its now or never on buying one.  So, I took the plunge and trial and error taught myself to sew. My desire was to make cute shirts for my son and other kids in my life.  I love those boutique clothes but I am not willing to spend $40 on a shirt that says "M" or other such simplicity.  Granted I still sew really slow and try my hardest to make straight lines but I am learning and getting better everyday.  Here are some fun things I have made so far!

Royal Icing Cookies

I don't know about you but I love how the cookies that have been professionally iced look, there is just something so delicious about them!  I'd say I am an intermediate baker and thought I would give royal icing a try.  First up I studied every website out there about opinions on how to make the "right" royal icing.  I took a lot of inspiration from The Sweet Adventures of SugarBelle since her cookies are AMAZING!  For these cookies I used boxed sugar cookies (gasp!) but it was because I wanted to really spend time with the icing and worry about the cookies later.  However, I will say... the boxed sugar cookies turned just as de-lish!  Check out my first go at the D-A-D cookies!

Stay tuned for more cookies, I have 101 cookies cutters that would make adorable cookies!
